Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy Service Self-referral to Reopen

Walsall Healthcare’s musculoskeletal physiotherapy service will once again be available for patients to self-refer into from Tuesday 1 June. The service had temporarily been allowing GP referrals only, to enable it to best support patients during the pandemic.

The Musculoskeletal (MSK) Physiotherapy service assesses and treats a variety of musculoskeletal conditions through the use of manual, electro-therapeutic and exercise therapy alongside chronic management programmes.

These techniques aid the recovery of patients with the ultimate aim of returning full function back to patients or to enable them to live with long-term chronic conditions.

The service also provides exercise classes for shoulder, back, lower limb and osteoarthritis knee patients to continue their rehabilitation process.

Hours of operation:

The service operates between Monday to Friday 8am – 4pm, with some occasional clinics provided until 7pm.
