Home Visits
Please note that if you register with us and you do not live within our catchment area, you will be registered as an ‘out-of-area patient‘ and will not be entitled to any home visits from any of our doctors.
If a patient is housebound or too ill to leave the home they may be visited at the doctor’s discretion. Patients are requested to telephone: 01922 477226 before 10:30 if a visit is required that day. Emergency visits only will be arranged after that time. Please give the receptionist as much information as possible to enable the doctor to allocate priority to house calls.
You can also be visited at home by a community nurse if you are referred by your GP. You should also be visited at home by a health visitor if you have recently had a baby or if you are newly registered with a GP and have a child under five years.
